Shimla being the capital of himachal pradesh deserves private firms with good job opportunities but I can't find single ones. Other than shops and hotels do shimla residents have any options.

If my perception is incorrect please mention few IT firms.

Planning to travel from Chandigarh airport to Shimla on Saturday around 11:30-12 pm.

Will have my trekking bag and so wanted to know the best possible way to get a transport. I’m aware about bus services from Sector43, bit are there any sharing cabs or mini buses?

I am looking to buy Kylaq MT in Shimla.
However, I am in doubt now because I came across the clutch burning issue in Škoda MT cars, that too very early, in 5000 to 10000 kms.

It would be helpful if anyone who has Kylaq MT in Shimla could answer the following:

1. Have you faced any issues with your clutch? How much is your odometer reading?
2. How much is the tank to tank fuel efficiency in Shimla city on regular e20 petrol? I took test drive of it and couldn’t get fuel efficiency to cross 10kmpl mark on the instrument cluster. Also, how much would it provide on Shimla to Chandigarh route?
3. How is the Skoda Solan service centre.
4. Any problems you faced?

New to Shimla and I think I’m starting to understand why everyone talks about the red apples here. 🍎😏

Update: Interesting to see that people here would have them set up by their parents at this stage of life rather than going out and finding someone for themselves.

For context, I check all the vanity metrics society puts on guys - tall, smart, make bank, have some generational wealth and am pretty outgoing with a good personality. Pahadi guy working in tech btw.

Tried the apps and matched with people from IGMC and St.Bedes. Ended up going on dates with a number of them but realised that these people are younger than me, still in college and this is not something that be built upon on.

How do you guys find people to date here? Like there are so many people either working or preparing for competitive exams but how to get access to this pool of people??

Also I don’t work in Shimla but am from Shimla so reaching out to people in office is not possible. Plus my friend group has moved out as well so meeting friends of friends is also not possible.

Don’t wanna reach out to people in public since this is my hometown and this culture has so far not reached here( wild guess)

2. how do tourist commute within Shimla - Are cabs running there via uber ola or is it just private taxis?

I went to the orthodontics dept and theres this male Lecturer in his late 50s short heighted , very rude and unprofessional . I felt that hes really a psychopath, how such disgusting doctors are treating pts. Ifs anyone here is from gdc shimla pls let me find his name . I really want to complain against him.

Planning to travel from 22-24 from either kalka or chandigarh. Which would be better?
Also, any tips are most welcome. Will be taking local bus from these 2 cities.

So I had left a bunch of beer and alchohol bottles by the gate for the MC pickup guy, thinking it was standard ops. But bro really said not my problem and took everything except the bottles. It has happened basically twice now.
Does the MC not collect glass/alcohol bottles?
If not where am I supposed to dispose these bottles off without just yeeting em into the bushes. I didn’t see any garbage bins nearby.
Where do you people dispose off your bottles, please enlighten, as I don’t want my room to be seen as nashe ka adda by the owners.
