We are planning a trip in the last week of October.

Will be travelling via bus from Delhi.

Have been looking at BNBs on the outskirts as we don’t intent on going out every single day. Plan on booking a cab for 2-3 days and sightseeing.

Now the main thing : She is within her second trimester which is considered safest out of the 3 (her doctor has given the green light advised to take it slow and safe while on the trip and as less exertion as possible on her).

Do you think Shimla would he worth it in terms of a pregnant lady going for her babymoon?

Hoping for a pleasant and less tiring experience where she won’t have to walk much which is why we are looking to book taxis and can skip places where she might have to walk or climb stairs.

I recently spent around 10–12 days in Raipur at my wife’s grandmother’s house, and I honestly didn’t expect much before going. Looking back, that’s probably why the city surprised me so much.
What’s funny is that before the trip, my wife wanted to stay for almost two weeks, and I was the one saying that 10–12 days would be more than enough. By the end of the trip, I was the one wishing we could stay a few more days.
Maybe part of the reason is that I come from Varanasi, where traffic can be overwhelming. Even a 7–8 km drive on a weekend often feels exhausting, and sometimes I end up cancelling plans because I don’t want to deal with the congestion.
Raipur felt completely different. One day we planned to visit Zora Mall, which was about 10–12 km away. Google Maps showed a travel time of around 20 minutes, and I genuinely thought that couldn’t be right. But we actually reached in about 20–22 minutes, even on a weekend. That was the moment I realized how much smoother and better planned the city’s roads and traffic are.
The infrastructure is impressive, the roads are wide and well-maintained, and getting around is genuinely stress-free. The café culture is excellent, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, clubs, and malls to explore. The city also felt surprisingly affordable, and the people were polite and welcoming.
I also loved the overall vibe. It felt organized, relaxed, and comfortable to live in. The weather was pleasant too—not unbearably hot and not too cold during my stay.
I know Raipur isn’t a major IT hub, so settling there for work may not be easy for everyone. But if someone is planning to start a business, retire, or simply wants a peaceful city with good infrastructure and a better quality of life, I think Raipur deserves serious consideration.
I went there with almost no expectations, but I came back genuinely impressed. It’s one of those cities that quietly wins you over. I definitely hope to spend more time there in the future.

So, we all know that someone probably came across this glitch on Tata CLiQ (and I’m calling it a glitch because I have enough reasons to believe that it was one) while scrolling or through some other means. It was regarding the YSL Y fragrance, which was listed at an unbelievably cheap, almost dirt-cheap price.

That’s how people discovered it, and later someone posted it on this subreddit as well. After that, more and more people started visiting the website. Many tried placing multiple orders, some tried to secure perfumes they had always wanted, and for many, it was basically a once-in-a-lifetime steal deal.

A lot of people managed to place orders, many were hopeful, and obviously, those who missed out were disappointed. Anyone who misses such an unexpected offer would naturally feel bad about it.

Then came the waiting period. Orders were placed, everyone was expecting delivery, but the next day, all the orders started getting cancelled.

I contacted customer care, and initially, I was given a reason that didn’t really add up. They said the orders were cancelled because they failed inventory checks or quality checks. I escalated the issue, and after that, I got a different explanation — that the seller realised there was a pricing glitch and cancelled the orders.

Now, I don’t know whether this was actually communicated properly to the seller or not. Personally, I find it unlikely that it wasn’t noticed, because sellers usually recheck orders before dispatching. They probably saw the incorrect pricing, realised what happened, and cancelled all the orders.

Now, regarding the whole situation, there are two possibilities.

Either this was a genuine pricing glitch, which unfortunately got out of hand.

Or, this was a very poorly framed corporate strategy by Tata CLiQ, where such low prices created massive attention around the platform, brought in a lot of new users, and made many people who previously looked towards Myntra, Jio, Flipkart, or community sellers for fragrance deals start considering Tata CLiQ and Tata CLiQ Luxury as well.

Because let’s be honest, the fragrance community already knew about Tata CLiQ, but an incident like this definitely puts the platform in the spotlight.

So, you guys decide — was this just a genuine glitch, or was it a cheap marketing tactic?

Hey Guys, I am planning to visit the beautiful state of Sikkim along with Darjeeling (Darjeeling is not the top most priority I can skip it).

I love mountains and have visited HP and UK many times to fulfil my love for the peace and breathtaking views of the mountains.

I can plan an itinerary and/or get help from reading many posts on this subteddit but want to ask how different Sikkim will feel post HP Trip.
I just visited HP - Manali, Lahaul Valley, Zanskar, Shinkula and Baralacha La Pass.

Plan on visiting Sikkim next in the month when it snows often.
