Yeah, majority of my posts in the sub are about Mary because as I told earlier, I loved her a lot, this character meant a lot to me, not only from childhood crush standpoint but also because she was so heavily ignored, sidelined all the time that it frustrated me to no end, half of the time she was just "an extra" or like a shadow to most of the characters in the series,

Anyway here are some of mine

1.)When she defends Johnny against Susan in "Say uncle" episode

2)When she does Johnny's make-up in season 1 after that botched up zombie look

3)When she plays the flute in that treasure hunt episode where we learnt she is in a band (even though it failed, they somehow always ignored her, even here as well)

4)When she saves Susan with a plan along with Johnny in Johnny of the deep, I was so glad because this was one of those rare instances where they finally made her heroic and gave her some focus

5)Where she kisses cuddlebuns showing her softer side

Anyone else who remembers something or mind adding up?

I'd be on my knees, plss 😭

Two of my favorite retro women, what are the similarities and differences between them?

Just wanted to make a quick appreciation post for the absolute queen that is Makoto Kino! I was hooked from her very first episode.

There is so much to love about her: the iconic high ponytail (my ultimate weakness), the rose earrings, her incredible outfits, and that gorgeous green-and-pink color palette. Her powers are stunning, and her voice acting is flawless.

What really makes her special is the duality of her character—how she perfectly blends strength and masculinity with a gentle, deeply feminine soul. Her chemistry and friendships with Usagi, Ami, and Venus add so much heart to the series.

Am I the only one who thinks she’s the standout Senshi? (I’m convinced Togashi loves her just as much as we do!)

Lucy has consistently been crushing everyone in most of the character popularity polls lately almost always ranking either no 1 or no 2, with others now being a distant second or lower (distant 2nd or 3rd, not even close), of course this should be a given because she is the Main character but 10 years ago or maybe earlier than that, most people who watched the anime or read the manga would rate either Erza or Natsu (Erza especially was a favorite of many as a cool, badass female fighter, whereas in most of the Shounen Mangas female characters were poorly written) as their favorite whereas Lucy would hardly even be in the discourse (many even actively disliked or hated her), what changed so dramatically?

P.S. Lucy has always been my fav from the first time I read the manga till now <3

Here are some of mine

1. Lessen the whipcrack sounds (it rubbed many fans the wrong way)

2. Give more screentime and episodes to my favorite character in the entire show: Mary test (I have posted about this a lot)

3. Explore more lore of the test family (we hardly know anything)

4. Switch it back to hand drawn animation of S1 instead of flash animation for the later seasons

5. Crossover episodes with Adventure times, Powerpuff girls or maybe Panty & Stockings!
