Darren Tate is an absolute genius master of a God. That is all.

Just saw Darren Tate's ABGT700 set on YouTube. Mind blown. Holy crap this guy is next level.

How have I not heard much of his music before?

A live set, with that much energy, is WILD. Kudos DT!!

[VIC] It's a "No" vote across the state. Results are in.

Members have had their say on the in-principle VGSA 2026 as part of the union’s democratic process, through the votes cast by sub-branch delegates. A majority of members have rejected the state government’s pay and conditions offer, with 57.7% of votes 'against' and 42.3% of votes 'for' accepting the offer.

It is clear that despite the improvements to the state government's March offer, the majority of members hold the view that the government’s May offer has not gone far enough to address their concerns. This is the message that the union will strongly convey to the state government.

EDIT:

With the state government's offer rejected, now for the next steps Elected AEU members on the Joint Primary and Secondary Council this afternoon passed a resolution, which sets out the next steps to continue to negotiate and campaign for a revised offer from the Allan Labor government. We need to move quickly to secure a revised offer but take the time to be united The Joint Council has committed the union to:

formally reject the Allan Labor government's offer restart negotiations with the Department of Education immediately lift the suspension on the industrial bans and limitations on work previously in place determine the specific areas of focus for negotiations, and particular campaign actions to be taken, by conducting a survey of all members on: the key areas members that want to see addressed in relation to pay and conditions ranking the relative importance of each key area industrial action options, including stopwork action. Every member can have their say so we can move forward together The member survey will be emailed to all members as early as possible next week. The results of the survey will directly inform the decisions about the specific focus areas for negotiations and particular campaign actions, which will be determined by an extra-ordinary meeting of the Joint Primary and Secondary Council on Friday 17 July 2026.

The results of the survey will be published to members.
