PSA: If you are sensible to static noise do NOT buy the new Nova Pro Omni
The new Nova Pro Omni have a really annoying static issue that I have not seen mentioned anywhere, but after returning and trying a second pair, either they have horrible QA or they just come unusable for me. The OG nova pro wireless do not have this issue!
The Nova Pro Omni's have a wierd static/scratchy sound playing when something is playing on low volume. It's not that loud but very noticable for me and 2 friends that have also tried them. It seems to me like the Headphones/DAC is trying to make any low volume sound audible and distorting it.
This issue is the most noticable for me when I am in a Game and something is in the background playing on super low volume. Current examples: FH6 pause screen and Path of Exile 2 hideout or even just a twitch stream where nothing is spoken.
In all of these examples there is a constant non stop static hiss that comes from the low volume background noises. As soon as I stop the stream/game the noise is gone.
I have checked every setting possible, updated everything, tested 2 pairs of Omni's on 3 PC's. All have the same issue. My old Nova pro wireless works flawlessly on all Systems. I will now have to refund both as the noise is unbearable for me.
Curious to know if anyone here with Omni's can report the same issue or not.
