I am working on a project but I am not sure if Im thinking correct- regarding the content.
all storytelling songs are made in first person perspective. since they are stories I also add sound effects.
what are your opinion regarding storytelling music? do soundeffects ruin the music or is it ok to use in music making? where is the limit between storytelling and pure music?
[ADAPTING VOX LANGUAGE FOR OPTIMAL UNDERSTANDING]
I make grimdark music.
Every song is a first-person tale from the Warhammer 40,000 universe — a dying guardsman watching his planet burn, an old man singing about the angel who saved him, an inquisitor infiltrating a heretic cult, a tech-priest who built something he shouldn’t have.
No two songs sound alike. Blues. Metal. Waltz. Industrial. Ska. Reggae. The only constant is the story.
Archive 0000: Genesis is out now.
Archive 0100: First Tales is out now.
Archive 0200: The Divines
You don’t need to know Warhammer to feel these songs.
You just need to like a good tale.
