Favorite design aspect of the game?

I absolutely love the design and artstyle of this game, always have. It's a huge part of why I got addicted to it after initially downloading it for the TF2 hat.

But what is your favorite part?

For me, I just love the Snipes a lot. They don't do anything, but they're just so cute and iconic for me, the way the fly around. I also really like the concept of the Gun Puppies, especially the Love Puppy. And Snarbolax, of course.

And, for some reason, the Plate Mail cosmetic really speaks to me. The Thunderous one especially, but I'm also already very happy that the Raging one came back now. It's just so chunky. That and Sealed Pauldrons. And the Sealed Sword.

Okay I could keep going forever honestly. Just lots of cool stuff.

Owlite/Wanderer's Wand

I don't see a lot of discussion on these from after they were buffed to no longer lock you in place while firing. What's the general opinion?

I'm a guy who mostly uses swords, and usually carry only a single gun for switches/turrets. I know the Arcana is more reliable as a swordie side-arm, but are there good too? I'm not interested in switch shooting, because I don't wanna carry around two alchemers all the time. I've already got a Storm Driver, but I hate that it reloads after 2 shots. Is the no reloading and faster charging speed worth it?

Secret nerfs in small game updates?

So yesterday Grey Havens disabled Krogmo Coin gain in 1v1 Brawls because apparently they don't want people to farm coins by purposefully loosing with alt accounts. Which, alright, I get it, it's a little iffy, but it doesn't really hurt anyone because nobody plays this mode otherwise, and it was the only way to efficiently get any of the recipes.

But I've been heating 0* gear to get lots of UV tickets this past week, and where two days ago I got 8 Forge Boxes out of leveling up 30 pieces of gear, today I've gotten 0. Now I know it's random chance, but that feels like they decreased the odds. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am absolutely in love with this game again!

I'm a little sad that I didn't keep playing all those years, but damn if it's not good to be back. Heating 5* gear is easier than ever, getting UVs has become significantly less painful as well (at least single ones, multiple is still a pain), and there's so many cool new accessories (although most are obviously extremely expensive). I even managed to get most Krogmo Coin recipes through 1v1 with the Boosters from the Starter Pack that I finally decided to buy (but why do I need 2400 Coins of I want to craft all trinkets twice?)...

Do we think Nonna will be back again in June? That and Winterfesr are what I'm looking forward to most now

RGDS bottom touchscreen loose?

I finally got my RGDS working the way I want it as a dedicated DS machine, only to notice that the bottom edge of my lower touchscreen doesn't seem to be attached to anything?

It has a slight creak to it, and if I press it a little too hard I can see it move inward, even to the point of the light on it distorting. Since it's a capacitive screen, it's not much of an issue during play as I don't actually need to press on it as much as on an actual DS, but I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if I got a defective unit. I'd hate to have to go through the hassle of returns, but for 100+€ I do want a device without factory faults

Just managed to snag the last Retroid Pocket G2 in the Netherlands, any tips?

After deliberating a lot on what higher end device to get (I already own an RG34xxSP, RG Nano, and have an RG DS on the way), I landed on the G2. Only to find out it had been discontinued months ago. But lo and behold, the main website in the Netherlands selling these kinds of devices still had a single black one in stock, so I snagged it and it is currently on its way. I did overpay a bit, but say all retro handhelds are pretty costly to import here.

Now that I'll have it in hand soon, I plan on following Russ' guides online for setup, but are there any tips for stuff that's often overlooked?

Okay, this might be a very niche question, but I'm hoping someone can help me out:

I bought a PS2 on a fleamarket, so I could play the old Lego Drome Racers game I used to play on PC, but on my couch. Turns out the thing doesn't want to turn on though.

Which got me thinking, it'd be awesome to play it on the go. There is a PC, Wii/Gamecube, and PS2 version. Also a GBA version but it's not the same game at all.

What would be the cheapest device I can run this thing on? I already have a 2gb RG34xxSP and an RGCube, but those can't run PS2 games. Would it be possible to run it through Postmaster?

If not, what's my next best option, knowing I'd pretty much just be buying it to play this one PS2 game
