Hey all. I’m considering taking a trip to Machu Picchu using the Hiram Bingham in February of next year. I’ve done the Hiram Bingham before, and it was fantastic. I just found out though that in February they don’t have train service the whole way and you need to take about a two-hour bus ride from Cusco to another station before you start the journey.

Does anyone have first-hand experience of using this bus to train connection? I’m assuming it’s just a normal big tour bus, but wondering if all the logistics work as smoothly as the train only service and if the time the quote is accurate.

I’m unfortunately too old now fortunately financially stable enough to pay the markup at my stadium (which is actually pretty reasonable). My curiosity is really itching my brain.

I’ve googled this and seen all kinds of ways that people try to sneak in booze, but not so much about using a colostomy bag. Anyone have experience with this one? Seems like there could be some serious repercussions for the staff if they don’t handle this properly.
