Karve

Just curious, does anyone else just stick with the karve?

I’m playing solo, and the karve seems more nimble, not to mention being able to handle rivers and shallows better. Playing solo, I don’t use nearly as much ore, so only holding 4 stacks at a time isn’t that much of a limit.

Reenactments and LARPs

This morning I’ve been kicking around some websites looking for a new IRL helmet, and then I thought about making an IRL armor stand for the armor I intend to retire. Of course that made me think of doing the same in Valheim, and, that spun off into asking the question here:

Has anyone ever told you all about the reenactments where you put on IRL armor and fight it out with people? To be clear, I don’t get any money from this, I just think there’s probably quite a bit of overlap in interests.

The two biggest ones I know of are the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) and EMP (Empire of Medieval Pursuits)

Anyway, if anyone has any questions, I can respond to comments.

Cancer GoFundMe

Hey everyone,

Hailing from the Barony of Bonwicke of Ansteorra. One of our young fighters, Frankie, fought at his first Gulf Wars this March, came home, and was promptly diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphoma in April. He’s still a minor, so I believe the Children’s Hospital will cover most of the direct medical expenses, but his family still has indirect costs. To that end, they have set up the below GoFundMe. If you are able, please consider donating a bit to get them all back on their feet.

Thank you,

Edit: Frankie’s mom just told me that they do indeed have to pay for some of his medications, and they are *not* cheap 😬
