I’m about to take a road trip and need to charge my car (Level 1). I could plug in this afternoon but later tonight and tomorrow all day long rain is expected. Can I leave my car charging all day long in the rain?
Thanks to the honesty, thoughtfulness and encouragement of our Trailseeker community I decided, despite some issues, that the vehicle is just too good to pass up. It's a wonderful car and a pleasure to drive.
My experience at the dealership was "meh". The salesperson seemed minimally informed about the Trailseeker and only moderately willing to be helpful. Interestingly, they were unable to operationalize the Subaru Connect app due to a multi-day "outage" that prevented them from sending me an email (part of the app onboarding process). So I am currently part of the Subaru Unconnected family!
I took the car for a 70 mile drive and am now giving it its first charge! Thanks again for so generously sharing your experiences. It made a huge difference in my decision making. Onward!
I am supposed to sign the lease papers tomorrow and pick up my new Trailseeker Touring. Hearing about this 12V battery problem has me jittery and questioning whether or not this is the right car for me.

First time EV owner. Trailseeker coming Tuesday. I went on ABRP but the Trailseeker is not supported. What routing app can I use that will be accurate for Trailseeker (Touring)? Thanks!
