The Hollow Choir, aka The Mod Formerly Known As SCYTAC
Hello everyone, it's been a while.
A few of you might remember me from the kitbashed sprites I assembled and posted about three years ago, for an in-progress faction I dubbed SCYTAC (out of tribute to the SCY Nation who primarily supplied the pieces for the bashin'). Big ups to Tartiflette, I hope they are living their best life.
Well, since then I concluded that I just don't have the artistic chops to properly portray what I wanted in the quality I desired, so I opted instead for a complete reset, and to reach out to one of the best. I am proud to say that none other than the hugely talented Gwyvern is now working on spriting for the faction, and SCYTAC has now been reborn as The Hollow Choir.
So, here it is; the first look at the Choir. A high-tech stealth faction that fights like low-tech shield-shunters. Because what's worse than being hit by a bulldozer? Getting hit by two bulldozers that you didn't see coming and had no idea existed.
Progress is slow, but steady. As Gwyvern works through adapting the old kitbashes into amazing custom art (i.e. the actual hard work that needs actual talent), I've been gradually chipping away at the stats, lore, custom systems and hullmods, weapons, effects, scripting, faction dynamics, custom AI, sound, music and various other things. It'll be some time before I have anything I'd feel happy sharing with the community properly, but we'll get there!
