I’ve only had my car for about 2 weeks so I’ll discuss my experience briefly.

I purchased a 2023 Integra A Spec Manual and the car is amazing of course. No issues whatsoever.

However, this was my second attempt at a car such as this because the first one was found with an oil leak and kept getting delayed. 17 days in total before I cancelled. I only know of the leak because my nephew works for them.

I canceled and found another one even better and the purchase was smooth. I even sold them a car i no longer used and they gave me a fair price.

All in all, good experience.

I am supposed to be picking up a car tomorrow at noon. This car has been delayed a week, which is fine (unless it’s not of course). Fortunately for me, my young nephew works for Carvana at the pickup location. He called me a few hours ago and was surprised to see my name for a scheduled pick up.

He told me: the car i was buying was at a third party mechanic shop getting fixed for an oil leak but did not have any more information pertaining that. He told me he highly doubt the car would be ready tomorrow by noon.

It is now 9pm ET, when does Carvana plan on calling me and informing me of a delay? My nephew also said there’s a history of Carvana not disclosing these repairs and the cars that get delayed via repairs tend to later become problematic.

Let it play out or cancel completely is where I’m going with this. Any suggestions or advice?
