Heavy North County police presence
This morning while having a coffee near Lomas Santa Fe, I watched three cops on motorcycles pull over at least 10 cars in the space of an hour, in the stretch around Red Tracton's. Just now, I saw maybe four different cruisers around 101 in Encinitas. One was pulling over a driver and the other three were parked in alleys or parking lots.
This feels like more than the standard month-end quota safari. Anyone know of any reason why things might be so hot?
