Swimming at the beach

We have been here a couple of days and havent seen a single person even relaxing on the beach? It has been a little breezy but I would expect to see more people enjoying a sandy beach even on the cloudier days. Is it the water quality that puts people off?

Hi, I am aiming to apply to start Adult Nursing in 2027, I'll be 32 when I start and it will be my second undergraduate degree. I have a house with my partner which limits my choices as I can't relocate easily for this degree like I could when I was 18 and just out of school (😭). I have three options locally and I'm trying to weigh them up as to what will give me the best chance of succeeding.

I'm looking for people with experience of the courses at Winchester, Portsmouth and Chichester. Specifically, I'd love to know people's experiences of:

- placement organisation - did they take your transportation into account, how much notice did you get of where you would be working and how much support did you get if you had problems getting there

- general admin, were they able to communicate and sort out any life issues that got in the way of your attendance, health, family, work etc. Did they communicate issues and solutions promptly or were you waiting around for answers?

- cohort size, did your lecturers know you by name or were you just another face in the crowd? Do they take an active interest, do they notice when you're struggling and offer support before you crash out or do you need to actively seek it? Are they proactive and supportive or do they just deliver the content and go home?

- general wellbeing, do you get enough support from the university in general, not just the courses staff but student services? Do you know who to talk to if you were to struggle or do you just have to guess?

Thank you in advance!
