Concerned about my friend’s 3 year old American Pitbull?

*Context* This was around 6am, and she was initially outside in the backyard barking constantly at something? My friend and I both got woken up by her barks. But my friend just told scolded her over the ring camera. I started getting concerned cause I knew she wasn’t really a barker. And asked him if this is normal, and told me that she does this sometimes. But I was still worried so I eventually checked up on her and let her in the house. She is usually a high energy dog, so she seemed pretty normal to me in the moment. But when I let her in the room we were sleeping in, she was pacing back and forth while breathing heavily. And then she started laying down just like in the video and was breathing very heavily with her mouth like in the video like she’s smiling. I’ve never seen her like this before and I’m concerned for her. My friend just brushed it off that it’s normal and continued sleeping. I stayed next to her holding her until eventually she did calmed down. I’m not sure if she was just anxious/stressed or she’s lowkey ill. I don’t think she was hot either because it was early in the morning and was pretty gloomy.

I know a vet visit isn’t cheap either, so most dog owners overlook a lot of early signs unless they seem to be physically affected. I don’t own any pet myself but I love animals, especially dogs, so I really just want her to be okay. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
