I’ve been polishing this bangle for about 2 hours by hand and the darkest parts have not lifted. I’m worried it goes deeper than the surface level as the tarnished spots appear to be becoming polished themselves without coming off 💔

Should I re-polish this with a buffing mop? I have jewellery design and manufacture experience but I have always hated polishing and used polishing paper over a machine and so I thought someone needs it’s more experience than me could tell me what to do 🥲

(I don’t know what the bangle was exposed to, it was left in a bathroom drawer for 2 months and assumed lost)

Is it an error? I’ve tried to move it with a toothpick and it seems to be part of the coin
