Why protecting Cresent and that fire trial to prove themselfs ? Despite knowing the real threat

Why did you have him in the first place ?
If Chima characters would appear in Dragons Rising , can lego remaster the old ones or they need to make new ones.
We know that Flinx is thousands years old as well as the other phoenixes , he was born just before the first ilumination as well as Liella.
Liella was born before Flinx but Liella did age before the ilumination and after it. The only reason she is thousands of years old and didn't die is beacuse of the phoenix.
But Flinx within those years only grew from a baby to kid. But why.
I first thought this is beacuse he didn't found his spark but at the end when he founds it and gets the powers of the ninth phoenix he is still a kid.
The only thing they did is that they decided to put a large adult wings that are the size of him almost , and keep him as a kid. Wouldn't it make more sense to give him normal adult legs (age him) with those wings or just to keep his child wings and give him the power of the ilumination.
In short: Why did he remain a kid after all of that ?
I hope one day we will get all the answers.
I hope we will see some of these characters in dragons rising season 5 or at least Chima island. Do you think we could finally see Chima in season 5 dragons rising ? If so how do you imagine it and what characters would you like to see.
