I’m 16 and I’ve always had very irregular periods and started my period at 12-13. They usually come for 5-7 days regularly without cramps and have a normal flow. The only problem is that they come every 6+ months and they’re very unpredictable. I’m a bit frustrated because I’ve asked my mom and my pediatric doctor about this, but they’ve just reassured me that it’s normal. Is this true? Most of my friends don’t have this problem and it’s making me insecure about it.
