Incoming freshmen move in day 8/17 (parent perspective)

We moved our son into Wagner hall today. I have heard mixed reviews on the move in day experience. I must say it was better than I expected. The staggered times really help. We had an 11:50 slot, rolled up at 11:45 and my son went to check in. We unloaded onto the curb outside Wagner and I put the car in the lot
There was a waitlist for the big move in wheelie bins. But being we were on the third floor, and literally one elevator…we just used the stairs. Made a few trips and voila. All moved in
The flow of traffic in and around campus was very controlled and orderly.
Good luck to all those moving in tomorrow 8/18 and have a great freshman year!

** to add, the staff that they had on hand were all super helpful. We were even as parents able to tour the gym facility. It made the whole move in day pretty seamless

Captains Center Circle Hospitality

Just booked two tickets for the Jan 16/17th fixture against Nottingham Forest. Was originally going to go to the Newcastle fixture in February but the tickets were expensive. My son went to his first match at the ethiad a few years ago (we are from New York) and he’s been wanting to go back. He is turning 16 in march so this will be part of his gift.
He really wanted to do the icon experience but way out of my range. Haven’t been able to see too much on YouTube abt this hospitality package so hoping to get some feedback from anyone here who has done it.
The thought of going out to center pitch before kickoff in front of a packed house is very exciting.
We will be able to get a photo with whomever the captain may be…and a signed armband.
The two tickets all in came to 4600.00 GBP
