Original Swat Boots 9" For BMQ?

I know people have their usual preferences for boots, but has anyone ever use these Original Swat Boots 9" For BMQ?

I was thinking of getting a pair. I've had a black pair of these before for work and they were pretty comfortable, but that was just casually walking around.

If you've used them, how did they hold up for actually rucking and other tasks? Also, did you get a half size up for the sock system? The black ones I had fit me true to size. Thanks

CAF Enrolment Ceremony

Hi,

I have my CAF enrollment ceremony coming up soon. The instructions say to arrive before 8:00 a.m., and I will be bringing one guest with me.

I heard the swearing in portion is very brief. I also understand that guests will be shown a presentation while we are filling out some forms.

Will my guest be waiting for a few hours before the actual enrollment ceremony, or is the paperwork usually completed fairly quickly?

I'm just wondering if they should come at a later time or with me before 8am?

Thanks

BMQ FITNESS / PT / OBSTACLE COURSE ETC

I read that you do PT every morning during BMQ. I'm assuming the workouts change from day to day?

What's the overall structure like? For example, what does a typical week of morning PT look like?

  • How often would you run 5 km during the week?
  • If it's a running day, is that the entire morning PT session, or do you do other exercises as well?
  • Are any of the PT sessions in the week done in a gym? How many a week?
  • Roughly how long is morning PT each day?
  • Do recruits still do the obstacle course that's shown in a lot of BMQ videos? If so, how often?
  • Is that obstacle course something you do once a week, or is it less frequent?

BMQ Fitness/PT

I'm not really worried about the fitness demand. I'm asking more out of curiosity to get a visual of what goes on. I read that you do PT every morning during BMQ. I'm assuming the workouts change from day to day?
