Trevor smoking meth

Does anybody remember the early version of GTA 5 when it was released on Xbox 360? Playing as Trevor, you would be able to walk to his couch in the trailer, and you would get a prompt that said, "Smoke meth," before Rockstar removed the meth option and replaced it with huffing gas out on his porch.

Question about AI content on forum

So, I recently deleted a post on the GTA 5 Reddit because everyone got butt hurt that my image was AI generated and that the biography I created was formatted through ChatGPT. But the idea and content wouldn't be possible without my input. I understand that a lot of people hate AI, so does my wife, but I'm just using it as a tool to bring my imagination to life, like I thought it was purpose for. I'm not tech savvy, so I don't know how to create a really cool art picture, but it aligned with what I asked it to make. And the biography is supposed to give an idea of what Michael Townley's life was like. This was all for an imaginatory DLC where Michael Townley chooses the blue collar life instead of the life of crime, and eventually becomes a police officer with the LSPD. Where he starts from humble beginnings and lives his whole life honorably without being a criminal. That's all it was. Just an imaginatory idea for an alternate life for Michael. But the community got so pissed off with me, and I want to know if I would be getting the same type of lash back in this community, since I am an avid LSPDFR player.

Critical Incident briefing

LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT
MEDIA RELATIONS DIVISION
Critical Incident Community Briefing
Officer-Involved Shooting / Line of Duty Death
Date of Incident: June 27, 2025

Good evening. I am Sergeant Daniel Mercer with the Los Santos Police Department Media Relations Division.

The purpose of this briefing is to provide the public with preliminary information regarding a critical incident that occurred during the early morning hours of June 27th, 2025, resulting in the line-of-duty death of Los Santos Police Officer Michael Townley.

At approximately 5:23 a.m., Officer Townley was assigned to patrol operations in the Davis area of South Los Santos, a region known for elevated violent crime and documented gang activity. While traveling eastbound near the intersection of Davis Avenue and Dutch London Street, adjacent to the freight rail corridor south of the Davis Mega Mall gas station, Officer Townley observed a black Albany Washington sedan operating recklessly by unlawfully crossing active train tracks instead of utilizing the designated roadway overpass.

Officer Townley positioned his marked patrol vehicle behind the suspect vehicle. At that time, another LSPD unit was traveling ahead of the suspect vehicle but did not observe the traffic violation and continued through the intersection.

After the traffic signal turned green, Officer Townley activated his emergency lights and initiated a traffic enforcement stop. The suspect vehicle yielded and pulled to the right shoulder without incident.

Officer Townley advised Communications Division personnel of the stop and conducted a registration inquiry through the Mobile Digital Computer system. Officer Townley then exited his patrol vehicle and retrieved his department-issued flashlight due to limited visibility conditions during the pre-dawn hours.

As Officer Townley approached the driver’s side of the vehicle, the suspect suddenly opened the driver’s door and immediately began firing a fully automatic MAC-10 style firearm at close range.

Officer Townley was struck multiple times during the initial barrage of gunfire. Preliminary investigation indicates one round struck his right hand while another impacted and disabled his portable radio, preventing effective emergency communications.

Despite sustaining severe injuries, Officer Townley attempted to retreat to cover behind his patrol vehicle while audibly calling for assistance. Investigators reviewing dash camera footage reported hearing Officer Townley broadcast, “Shots fired, officer needs help,” before communications were interrupted due to damage to his radio equipment.

The suspect continued advancing toward Officer Townley while firing repeatedly. Officer Townley attempted to draw his department-issued sidearm and return fire; however, he was overwhelmed by sustained automatic gunfire and collapsed at the scene after being struck numerous additional times to the torso, extremities, and head.

Crime scene investigators recovered approximately 56 spent shell casings at the location.

After the shooting, the suspect re-entered the vehicle and fled northbound from the scene. A citywide tactical alert was initiated, and responding officers subsequently located the suspect vehicle in the Grove Street cul-de-sac area.

Following a coordinated containment operation, officers took the suspect, identified as Devontae Johnson Jr., into custody without further incident. The firearm believed to have been used during the attack was recovered at the time of arrest.

Officer Michael Townley was transported by Los Santos Fire Department paramedics to Central Los Santos Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Officer Townley served the people of Los Santos with honor and dedication. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.

The Los Santos Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Officer Townley’s family, friends, and fellow officers during this extremely difficult time.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation involving the LSPD Force Investigation Division, Robbery-Homicide Division, and the Office of the District Attorney. Additional information will be released as it becomes available and when legally appropriate.

On behalf of Chief of Police and the men and women of the Los Santos Police Department, we ask the community to keep Officer Townley’s loved ones in their thoughts and prayers.

Thank you.
