Should I Buy Adobe Premier Plan?

I've been looking at the features, and it seems pretty useful, but not sure if I want to bite the bullet and buy it. However, I do think that I need to level up my game, so tips are appreciated.

What I do: Been making shorts and longs as a hobby, also make music videos as a hobby. I don't intend to pursue this full time, but I also want to do the best job I can do and streamline my process to save time. Plus I'm optimistic I'll see slow growth into decent channel success over time.

What I've been doing: Shotcut (free SW). It's actually pretty decent, but it's very manual.

My goal: Make editing easier/faster. Specifically, >50% of my editing time on shorts is in typing out subs myself, so really what I'm investigating is a SW/AI that can take care of that part for me.

Budget: tbh I can afford it without much concern ($22/mo), but I still prefer to save as much as possible just as a general principle. If the only advantage over Shotcut is subtitling, I wonder if there are cheaper services out there that only do captions that I can use?

I'm def not a skilled editor and mostly do the bare minimum. Not trying to make blockbuster films, even my music videos are mostly play-alongs that I manually sync my playthrough to my music. I'm not against learning better editing, I try to pick things up, but it's really a time issue. So it's time for me to pay to save my time.

Thanks!
