Full body itching, no hives or other symptoms? Seeking advice on what this is!
About two years ago, I would randomly start itching during the day which of course would disrupt my sleep at night. I live in Phoenix Arizona where yes we have dust, pollen and pollution but I don’t have the typical allergy symptoms. I do however get nasal congestion so I’ve been taking both Claritin and Flonase which minimizes those symptoms.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? I don’t have hives or any type of elevated rashes. Though my face definitely looks flushed and some parts directly below the ears. I’ve done low histamine diets and they don’t seem to do much. I’m wondering if this may be a new dust/mite allergy which I’d love any recommendations you may have! I’m already vacuuming and deep cleaning each week, which isn’t seeming to help the itching.
NOTE: I recently traveled for a few weeks to the east coast and the itching completely stopped. This of course makes me think it’s all environmental vs histamine from foods etc.
