Hi, I just got the idea to post this here. I'm an LAMFT looking to complete his 1000 relational hours. I'd like if I could work at a location in or around the down town Phoenix area. I want to treat mainly couples and marriages, but am happy to add families to that. I'm seeking to leave my current employer because they only offer individual counseling (residential treatment center.) Please let me know if you have any leads! If it helps to know, I'm 39, male, white, and have practiced for 6 years.

Have you ever heard these words? How about in response to sharing a desire to pivot even just partially away from therapy work? What has been your reaction and response to this? Who expressed this to you and how did that specific relationship influence your judgement about making a pivot?

How do you imagine you would answer these questions if you encountered that statement?
