Your best Luanti mods

How about we play a little game? As you know, I'm a massive fan of Minetest (I just can't bring myself to say Luanti), and since I was a kid—which is when I first discovered it—I’ve used so many mods. Back then, that was my whole day: testing new mods, exploring... I absolutely loved it, and that's actually what's driving me to create mods now.

But before I do, I’d love for everyone to list at least 5 mods they think are the best, and also at least 3 underrated gems. I'll start:

  • Animalia: Seriously, a high-quality mod with beautiful animals.
  • i3: A total UI revolution.
  • Farming Redo: The ultimate boss of farming.
  • Nether: One of the best mods out there in my opinion. Its lore is amazing, and for me, it's one of the few mods you can just install and play standalone without any issues.
  • Zombie4test: One of the most flawless mods in Minetest.

As for the underrated gems:

  • Villages: Even if it's a bit rudimentary, I remember being completely amazed by it. It defined my childhood.
  • XEnchanting: Absolute banger.
  • Forgotten Monsters: I don't even have the words. Just go try it out.

Your turn now!!

How do I get a skin?

As you know, I'm DamixLord, and my goal is to create mods and improve Luanti. To do this, I need to be recognizable, so I installed the Skindb mod, but there are few skins. How can I get my own?

I Love Luanti

I remember knowing minetest (I knew it when it was called that) when I was looking for an alternative to Minecraft and then, without understanding it, I fell in love with the game, I liked its simplicity so much. Mods again... I loved so much what the community has done and continues to do, even if we are not recognized enough, there is no problem. I always had a frustration because there were mods, but not the ones I was looking for, and that's how I learned lua which became my 2nd favorite language. I don't come to surpass the community of modders far from it, it's thanks to you that Luanti has been able to live so long, I come to put my stone and why not make Luanti known to as many people as possible. I can't wait to show you my mods, when I've finished my apprenticeship. Until then, I'll take any advice. Thank you
