Jio vs Airtel in Delhi — which one is actually more reliable ?
I’m stuck between Jio and Airtel and would love some honest feedback from people
I work remotely, so internet reliability is a BIG deal for me. Speed is nice, but I mainly care about outages, support and how quickly things get fixed when something goes wrong.
I’ve been using Airtel DSL since 2021. Honestly, it has worked fine for me overall. But whenever there’s a technical issue that needs a technician visit, it becomes a headache.
Recently, my internet was down for 3 days. I kept getting ETAs from Airtel but the issue just wasn’t getting fixed . Since I couldn’t risk losing internet for work anymore, I finally got Jio AirFiber installed yesterday.
I’ve only used Jio for about 24 hours, so far so good. Good speeds, stable connection, but obviously that’s way too early to judge long-term reliability.
Interestingly, Airtel is now calling me as i have disconnected the DSL connection , to retain the connection and has offered me ₹100 off my plan permanently + one month rental waiver. So now I’m wondering whether I should keep Airtel as a backup or just discontinue it.

How often you face outages?
Technician/support experience
How quickly issues actually get resolved
