We've been working on Discover Manipur, a free guide to Manipur for visitors and for people who live here. It's now live and open for public use:
What you'll find on it
- Places to visit, homestays, eateries and cafes
- Festivals, experiences and local craft makers
- Transport info and responsible travel tips
- A trip planner to help put an itinerary together
How you can help
This works best when it comes from the people who know Manipur. If you know a good cafe, a hidden spot, a homestay or a local eatery that isn't listed yet:
- Add a place: Sign in on the site and submit it. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, so the listings stay accurate.
- Fix a listing: If timings or fees are wrong, or a place has closed, let us know so we can correct it.
- Share photos: Photos you took yourself are always welcome.

The project is open source, and we'd love help with features, bug fixes, accessibility and translations into Meiteilon and other languages of Manipur. Join our Discord to get started, find something to work on and talk to the team.
It's still early, so some areas have fewer listings than others. That's exactly where your help counts the most. Feedback of any kind is welcome.
