Looking for a vehicle for delivery

Hi everyone! I was accepted as a Wolt courier today and ordered a bag and gear, but I don’t know what to do about transportation or where to get a vehicle.

I currently live in Esbjerg, and just recently I spent most of my paycheck on an electric scooter, which was stolen right in front of the security cameras at the mall a week and a half ago :/

So I’d like to ask for advice from someone who might be local or knows about this, how can I get out of this situation? My budget isn’t big, and I think it’s pointless to do deliveries on a cheap bike without an electric motor because I won’t make any money.

Are there any options here for weekly e-bike rentals? For example, like in Copenhagen or Oslo, I see a lot of people riding rented ones, but I can’t find any information about this online.

Thanks in advance for your reply! 🤗

About start study and life path

Hi everyone,

I’m a 20-year-old guy from Ukraine, currently living in Denmark. Recently I realized that I’m really drawn to engineering, especially things like exoskeletons, mech-style systems, complex mechanisms, and even older technologies like steam-powered machines. I just love how everything is structured and works together.

The problem is… I’m basically starting from zero 😭

I missed the foundation in subjects like physics and chemistry back in school, so I never properly understood them, and no one really helped me catch up. Because of that, I’m not sure if I truly enjoy engineering deeply enough to dedicate my whole life to it, but I really want to give it a serious try.

I’m not aiming to become someone who just knows theory. I want to actually understand how things work and be able to build real, meaningful projects, something I can be proud of.

So my question is:

Where should I start if I want to get into engineering (especially robotics/mechanical/exoskeleton-type stuff) from absolute zero?

What subjects should I learn first?

Any beginner-friendly resources (books, courses, YouTube, etc.)?

Any communities or forums you’d recommend?

I’d really appreciate any advice from people who started in a similar position.

Thanks in advance 🙏

About job and move to capital

Hi everyone,

I’m a 20-year-old from Ukraine, currently living in Esbjerg, Denmark. I recently arrived and was placed here with support from the municipality.

Right now I’m trying to find a job, but it feels very difficult — most positions seem to require Danish, and there aren’t many opportunities available.

I’ve been thinking about Copenhagen, since I assume there are more job opportunities there. I’ve heard that if you manage to find a job in another city, the job center or municipality might help you relocate.

Is that actually true? Has anyone here gone through something similar or knows how this works in practice?

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks!
