Western Star 49X DD16

Western Star 49X DD16

I performed a six-month safety inspection on this beauty at work. The tractor was in great shape, trailers needed some work.

As an ex-Freightliner dealership tech, I have to say that out of the two big DTNA brands, Western Star makes a much better looking truck, at least recently.

They grow up so fast *sheds tear*

My sibling started playing Snowrunner this week and I got to "demonstrate" how not to follow the path (by falling off it like a fool).

They looked at what I did, took a different approach, then fell off the path ten feet further along facing the other direction.

I've never been so proud!

"Faster, then fear" is appropriate

While they may have made a mistake with this sticker (then vs than), with an added comma it would be rather appropriate for driving in Snowrunner!

Experimenting with the Avenhorn

I wondered if I'd have more fun on all-terrain tires and with switchable AWD / diff lock. I can certainly say it makes the A15 more interesting to drive, and definitely more thirsty when I can't just plow through everything in high gear.

This xml editing is a bit addictive.

Parked here and thought, "darn I love this old beast!"

Also, the Step 310E did a fantastic job delivering mine carts while burning very little fuel. That Voin engine is ridiculously efficient!

Even more CK1500 love

No I'm not biased for Chevy pickups I don't know why you would think that *shifty eyes*

Jokes aside, this K2500 is a family heirloom and has been extraordinarily reliable despite its age.
