Small Company address choice, Home or Virtual?

Hey all, new joiner here. Ive been playing about in my free time developing android apps. Ive been wanting to get a small portfolio before launching.

I feel that time is getting close and wanted to protect my family assets through a LTD. What are your thoughts of the company address, if I shoild use my family home or spend money from a hobby business to have a virtual office address?

Thanks in advance
