So the minute I turn on my FX3, on the screen I see ‘ The cooling fan has malfunctioned. Please seek repair services’

Now normally I shoot content music wise, so film like a minute, 2 minutes etc, so the camera functions well.

However the other day the camera was used for a longer recording and it started overheating etc.

Now my region is in Africa so we don’t have designated Sony service centers, so ideally I’d have to send it to Dubai or somewhere like the UK.

Now has anybody experienced this?

Also I’m thinking of getting an Ulanzi cool fan to attach to the FX3, does anybody have any experience with it, if it will stop it from over heating after 15mins etc.

Got a property in Abuja (I own it) so basically I’ve done the interior work looks amazing if I must say so myself, and I wanna do Airbnb/Shortlets, the property is in Guzape (FHA/ENL) anybody here into that? Any advice? Also I’m going to go into the final phase of it, TVs, Inverter, fridge, all that luxury stuff.. if anybody here is in Abuja and wants to come partner with me to lighten the load as a business partner I’m open to that too.. Ultimately want to get some advise on what to expect and how to navigate the market.
