Which bicycle should I buy for a Mechi → Mahakali cycling trip? 🚲🇳🇵

Hey everyone,
I'm from Nepal and planning my first serious long-distance cycling trip in about 4 months.
My goal is to cycle from Mechi/Kakarbhitta to Mahakali/Gaddachowki, roughly 1,000+ km across Nepal.
A little about me:
\- Height: \~5'11" / 180 cm
\- Weight: \~65 kg
\- Current bicycle: None
\- Cycling experience: I can comfortably do 20–30 km
\- I can run 6–10 km under an hour, so my general fitness is decent
\- I used to work out at the gym
\- This will be my first multi-day cycling expedition
Budget 💰
I currently have around NPR 15,000, but I'm saving more.
My target bicycle budget is around NPR 25,000–35,000.
I don't mind waiting and saving more if spending an extra amount will make a meaningful difference in reliability and comfort.
I'm mainly looking for something that is:
\- Reliable for 1,000+ km
\- Comfortable for 70–100+ km riding days
\- Suitable for Nepal's roads and hills
\- Easy to repair and find parts for in Nepal
\- Capable of carrying some luggage
\- Good value rather than just having lots of gears/specs
I've been looking at bikes like the Galaxy ML150 27.5", but I'm also considering Trinx and other brands.
What bicycle/model would you recommend in Nepal for NPR 25–35k?
Also, would you recommend:
\- 27.5" or 29"?
\- MTB, hybrid, or touring bike?
\- New or used?
\- Is it worth increasing my budget?
I'd really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually ridden/cycled in Nepal.
Thanks! 🙏🚲🇳🇵
