To kill a mockingbird
We have TWO northern mockingbirds nesting right outside of our apartment. Every time we leave they are aggressively dive bombing us and our dog. We try to quickly walk across the street and they follow us. I cannot live like this!
People who have experienced this before:
How long will we have to endure this madness?
What are ways of deterring this infuriating behavior?
Are umbrellas, squirt bottles, hats my best line of defense against these brutal beasts?
Also, spare me with your “co-exist”, “protect the birds”, “iTs iLleGal tO hARasS tHeM” rhetoric. I remember when bird watching / being “into” birds wasn’t en vogue.
Thanks!
