Hiring a video editor in Jaipur for cinematic travel documentaries (YouTube + Reels + Carousels)

Hi everyone,

I run a cinematic travel documentary channel on YouTube and Instagram. The focus is offbeat India: lesser-known villages, ancient temples, Himalayan geography and Hindu culture, told with Hindi narration, drone shots and a slow, story-first style.

I'm looking for a video editor to join me on an ongoing basis. The editor must be based in Jaipur. I can arrange an office space where we can work from, so you don't need your own setup to get started.

What you'd be editing

  • 1 long-form documentary per month (about 20 min)
  • 3 mid-form videos per month (5–10 min)
  • Reels and Shorts, around 20 per month

What I'm looking for

  • Strong cinematic editing: pacing, sound design, color grading
  • Comfort with Hindi narration-led storytelling
  • Experience with both long-form YouTube and vertical short-form (hook-first edits)
  • Preferred: someone who can also handle marketing for the channel, such as YouTube SEO, thumbnails and titles, Instagram growth and promotion
  • Basic thumbnail and subtitle skills are a plus
  • Reliable with deadlines. I'll share raw footage within a few days of each shoot, and I expect consistent turnaround.
  • Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut is fine, whichever you're best at

About the channel
Instagram reach is strong, with 300K+ views in the last 30 days, and I'm now building the YouTube side. If you want to help grow a channel and not just deliver files, you'll fit well.

Compensation: Can discuss for a fixed compensation per month. I can pay well.
Type: long-term

To apply: DM me or comment with your portfolio or showreel (YouTube or Drive link) and a line about your experience with travel or documentary edits. If you've done marketing or growth work for a channel or brand, mention that too. A paid test edit on a short clip is fine for shortlisted people.
