🎬 Video Editor - Travel Challenge Channel | Long-term | Short + Long Form

We're a couple traveling the world making location-based challenge content. Check the channel before applying: youtube.com/@ReroutedTogether

Examples: Think Michael DiCostanzo-style shorts and Jetlag The Game-style long episodes - that's the direction.

We have a full Figma design system (titles, maps, scoreboards, timers, player names - all built). Your job is editing, animation, and sound. Not design from scratch.

What you'd be editing:

  • 3 shorts/week (~60-90s) - fast-paced challenge/game clips
  • 1 long episode every 2 weeks (~15-20 min) - game show format, multi-camera (2 POVs).

What we need:

  • Clean multi-cam sync (2 devices, filmed on iphone)
  • Tight cuts, high pace, easy-to-follow story, please check the examples
  • Animate existing Figma assets + SFX
  • YouTube-safe music/SFX libraries(we’re open to buy if needed)
  • Subtitles when needed
  • Revisions via Frame.io integrated in your editing software.

Pay:
We're just starting, so we obviously don't monetise anything yet, but we’re happy to pay for the work and performance.

  • Shorts: $15/clip
  • Longs: $100/clip
  • Viral bonus on top - shorts hitting 100k/500k/1M and longs hitting milestones get bonus payouts. We're a growing channel and want the editor to win when we win.

Turnaround: 1-3 days for shorts | 4-7 days for longs

This is a long-term collaboration. We're not looking for one-and-done. Price accordingly - we want someone who grows with the channel. We do monthly video reviews, and your ideas and feedback genuinely shape how we improve, also possibility to increase.

Test (paid): Based on portfolios, we'll select 3 candidates for a paid test:

  • 1 short edit: $15
  • 1 long segment (~5 min): $20

To apply, complete this quick form (it takes 2 minutes), don’t drop a private message:

[Hiring] A video editor for a revolutionary channel about the stock market.

Note: I will not consider your application unless you comment here. Make sure to comment the name that you used in the application under this Reddit post so I can confirm it.

Hello!  My name is Omni Capital and I create revolutionary content about the stock market.  I have currently built a community of 1.6k subscribers, but am looking to grow even further, and that all starts by finding the right partner to handle the editing.

Here is my channel link: https://www.youtube.com/@Omni_Capital

As you can see, I don't just create generic videos like "Here's the 5 best stocks to buy in 2026!"  I try to make my videos genuinely creative.  They are both informative and entertaining.  You won't find them anywhere else on YouTube.  Here are some examples:

  • The Most DEVASTATING WallStreetBets Losses
  • Explaining the Stock Market in 5 Levels of Difficulty
  • these 59 seconds will change your investing career
  • The Source Code of the Stock Market (a 20 minute financial calculus deep-dive)

I currently don't show my face on camera, but that may change soon.  In the meantime, I would like an editing style that's generally similar to SunnyV2 in terms of motion graphics.  (Note: if you see this, add three exclamation marks to your name in the application).  Obviously, I'm not expecting anything nearly as involved or polished as his editing, but it just serves as a general guideline for pacing and style.

I am looking for people who:

  1. Can effectively edit in my desired style
  2. Are 100% fluent in English
  3. Who have a deep knowledge of the stock market as well as its community
  4. (optional, but is heavily preferred) Understand calculus or other advanced math and know how to at least work with it, as well as knowing how to use Manim

This is open to negotiation, but I am looking for a compensation rate of around $10-15/minute of final runtime on top of performance-based bonuses (so you will be paid more than the base rate if the video does well).  My previous editor (the one who edited my two most recent videos) had a rate of $10/minute. If a video is more involved (for instance, because it involves tons of Manim animations), I am open to paying more for the higher-quality product.  And once we grow together, I will raise the rate.

Here is a quick google form to fill out if you're interested: https://forms.gle/TTkoihs6BirEHVG57

Thank you!  I look forward to working together to launch Omni Capital to the stars.

Title: Looking for Skilled Documentary Video Editor — Business / Tech / Science / Power Videos

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a skilled video editor for a first paid test project on a documentary-style YouTube video.

The video will be around 20 to 30 minutes long, and I will provide the script and voiceover.

Budget for the first test video: $200

This first project is to see if we are a good fit creatively and professionally. If the quality, communication, and workflow are strong, this can become ongoing work.

I’m looking for someone who can edit premium documentary-style videos in topics such as:

- Business stories

- Technology

- Science

- Power

- Civilization

- Rise-and-fall stories

- Company scandals

- Founder stories

- Industry deep dives

I need an editor who understands that this is not just about placing random stock footage over narration. The goal is to create a documentary that pulls the viewer in from the first 10 seconds and keeps them engaged until the end.

The edit should be able to mix multiple visual sources into one strong story, such as:

- Real footage

- News clips

- Archival material

- Company/product visuals

- AI-generated visuals or animations

- Headlines, documents, articles, charts, and clean motion graphics

- Cinematic B-roll when needed

- Background music and sound design that support the narration without overpowering it

I’m looking for a serious, cinematic, premium documentary feel — clean, intelligent, well-paced, and story-driven.

The editor should have:

- Experience with documentary-style YouTube editing

- Strong pacing and retention instincts

- Ability to make the first 10 seconds visually engaging

- Good sense of storytelling and emotional rhythm

- Ability to source relevant visuals when needed

- Clean text overlays and motion graphics

- Good music selection and sound design

- Reliable communication and delivery

Please send me:

  1. Your portfolio or documentary-style examples

  2. Your turnaround time for a 20–30 minute video

  3. What editing software you use

  4. Whether you can help source footage, news clips, and visual references

  5. Confirmation that you understand this is a $200 first paid test project

I’m looking for quality and consistency. If the first project goes well, I would like to build a long-term working relationship with the right editor.

Thank you.

Freelance Video Editor – Sports & Documentary Style Video Essays

Job Type: Freelance / Project-based (with potential for ongoing long-term work)
Compensation: $50 per video
Project Length: 10–15 minute highly engaging video essays
Niche: Sports history, analytics, and documentary storytelling
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative freelance Video Editor to transform deep-dive scripts and voiceovers into cinematic, retention-focused video essays.
Our content follows a prestige documentary style similar to channels like 3putt, Jon Bois, or MagnatesMedia. We don't just state facts—we build dramatic narratives using smooth motion graphics, clean data visualizations, pacing that keeps viewers hooked, and immaculate sound design.
A massive part of this role will involve visual research and asset gathering. You will be fully responsible for tracking down the perfect contextual B-roll, historical footage, and imagery to bring the narrative to life.
Responsibilities:
Pacing & Narrative Flow: Cut and arrange a 10–12 minute voiceover into a compelling, fast-moving, yet easy-to-follow story.
B-Roll & Asset Sourcing (Crucial): Independently research, find, and select high-quality stock footage, historical sports clips, broadcast footage, and thematic B-roll that perfectly matches the script commentary.
Motion Graphics & Data Visualization: Create clean, modern graph animations, timelines, maps, and text on-screen to explain complex statistics or concepts (e.g., comparing athlete peak ages or historical TV ratings over time).
Sound Design & Mix: Use cinematic background tracks, dramatic atmospheric risers, impact sound effects, and clean audio transitions to enhance the emotional weight of the video.
Color Grading & Texturing: Apply clean color grading, subtle film grain, or paper textures to give the video a cohesive, premium documentary feel.
Requirements:
Style Reference: Must be able to match the editing style of this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNlGHy9dakI\](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNlGHy9dakI) (Pay close attention to its clean text animations, smooth custom graphs, and use of archival sports footage).
Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
Independent Researcher: Ability to take a script and instinctively know what visual B-roll or graphical representation is needed to make a scene engaging without being micro-managed.
Attention to Detail: Excellent timing, framing, and a strong understanding of YouTube viewer retention mechanics.

How to Apply:
Please send over:
1 A link to your portfolio or specific video edits that showcase your ability to handle long-form storytelling or video essays.
2 A brief note confirming you are comfortable with the $50 per video rate.
3 Your typical turnaround time once provided with the script and voiceover.

[Hiring] Looking for someone to make me a Vore video, $150. 10-20 minutes. You can use as much AI as you want as long as you edit it properly. Please be done in 2-3 weeks. It will be posted publicly, but you can leave your name off of it.

Examples of what I like

https://www.youtube.com/@AprilsAudio
https://www.youtube.com/@Isabellibelly

Still images, visceral sound effects. Obviously no animation as that would take forever. I don't care if you use AI to make the still images, sound effects, or the voices. However though, if you do (I fully expect you do) then please pick at least decent AI voices that sound realistic and not like robots.

If you are interested, please send me a message saying with programs you will be using (probably all AI) and show me other videos you have made.

EDIT: Sorry, just decided on a slight change. Two videos which are pretty much identicle. Just one with the prey dialogue audio and the other without

EDIT2: I will have Grok/Chatgpt write out the script. Deviant is a max of 12 minutes and Duration. File Formats: MP4, WMV, and 3GP are widely supported and capped at 1 GB.

0-3 Minutes: Prey in front of giantess with taunting

3-6 minutes: Taunting in front of the belly and outside the lips

6-9 minutes: Inside the mouth

9-12 Minutes: Inside the belly
