I'm looking for a video editor for a long-form film analysis YouTube channel.
The videos are storytelling-based, inside the mafia gangster niche.
The editing itself is relatively straightforward. Most of the work involves matching the supplied voice-over with relevant film footage, images, and other visuals while keeping the pacing clean and engaging.
Editing is done in Adobe Premiere Pro. Some basic animation is required, but ideally done in Premiere too.
The videos generally use around a 90/10 split between narration and film clips, to avoid any YouTube strikes and fall within fair use.
Pay:
- $90 for videos around 3 minutes
- $120 for videos around 5 minutes
Looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable working in Premiere Pro
- Has a interest in classic mafia films
- Can find and select relevant footage
- Understands basic YouTube pacing and visual flow
- Is open to feedback and adapting to an established editing style
There should be around one video per week, with long-term work available for the right person.
