I just graduated in may, gonna be starting FT job pretty soon, and as much as I complained about UTD during my 4 years here, I kinda miss it the more I think about it lol. It wasn't always the best of times, but it was something uniquely my own experience. It's as much the people you meet as the place you're at. Maybe just thinking about not being a college student anymore is tripping me up lol
Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to get an offer starting in a few weeks, and I want to go in with the best possible mindset to succeed. What are some things to keep in mind to make sure I make my best impression on people, and also good habits to have in terms of work ethic? (In terms of being proactive with asking for work, introducing yourself to as many people as possible, trying not to be invisible, etc)
Hey everyone, I recently accepted an offer that is located in Irving (around 10 minutes from Cypress Waters and another 10 minutes from Downtown Las Colinas). I currently live closer to Frisco/Plano and am thinking of probably commuting for at least the first 6-8 months to save up a bit, but I was wondering where the best places to meet people and make friends in this area are. For reference, I'm a 22 y/o guy, super into comics and guitars and sports.
