This is my first time with Cory eggs. She layed them last night and I put them in a breeder box and then this morning noticed they had some algae setting from the tank so I pulled them out and also got rid of the obviously white ones. Don’t mind the video saying fertile, I was sending it to a fish friend but I have yet to hear a reply and I wanna get any infertile eggs out!
Hey y’all, I was getting stuff set up for a water change and sand clean and I noticed my Cory’s acting funny. I have 6 all together but these 2 guys will not leave this females side. This is my first time owning Cory’s and I’ve only had them for 7-8 months so i just want to make sure this is mating behavior and not aggression! I’m sorry if it’s a stupid question 😅
UPDATE. MY QUESTION WAS ANSWERED. WHILE THE POST WAS POSTING I WATCHED HER GIVE THE FATTEST BJ IVE EVER SEEN. Will update when eggs are laid.
SHE LAYED THEM WHILE I WAS TYPING THAT OH MY GOD IM SO EXCITED. HOW DO I CARE FOR THESE
Hey y’all, I was gone for a few days on vacation and I came home to my female looking like a huge balloon. My male is consistently croaking at her, and he has never made a single noise the entire almost year I have owned them. I got them both as juveniles.
Should I euthanize her? I’ve spent 3-4 days trying everything I know to help, I even went as far as buying and entirely new bigger tank incase there was a water issue. It’s soft bloat as when I take her out the skin sags. I’m worried it’s dropsy/kidney failure. I just don’t want her to suffer if this is something I can not fix.
I just added 4 younger black khuli loaches to my tank. What are the quirkiest things about them that I should know? I already know that even breathing wrong scares them 😂 but what are some odd things I can look out for? They’re kept on black sand 😁
