New rule

I’m just a little baffled by the negative comments after the new flair suggestion. I think it’s a great idea for the sub. I feel like it’s so isolating being a straight trans woman. I feel alienated by cis people constantly and I feel alienated by queer people and other trans women I’ve met who have been passive aggressive or just stopped talking to me after finding out I’m only attracted to men. I don’t think it’s outrageous to ask that people in the space are trans women who discuss dating men, and all of my sisters I know who are trans and straight irl are isolated and lonely. There are subs like r/bisexualtransgirls to discuss dating women or r/traaaaaaaaaaaansbians!

At what point in your medical transition does it get better?

I’m almost 5 years medically transitioning and in the process of ffs and orchi. I’m just kind of sick of feeling so dysphoria. Estrogen has helped immensely and I’ve had great success but I’m anxious that even after surgery I’ll always struggle with dysphoria. Or that something will happen and I won’t be able to get my surgeries. This ways heavy on my mind constantly and I just want to pass this point in my life and try to be as normal as possible.

😭

I’m being sappy but I’m genuinely so tired of feeling like a freak 😭 I desperately just want to be a normal woman and go throughout life without thinking about being transexual. I moved away from the city and for the most part it’s really helped my dysphoria not interacting with so many people. There are so many little comments in discussion with people who aren’t trans women that just make me feel othered. Like when you’re talking about a man who likes you with a cis person and they mention something like “oh I didn’t know he was gay.” :(
I also really dislike when people ask me my pronouns and it’s generally almost always other trans people who aren’t trans women or “allies”. I get the sentiment but it just makes me feel so much dysphoria. Moving away has alleviated this but I’m sad that I’ve stopped trying to meet new people and have had to isolate more for my mind.
