Is it just me or has the number of AI short drama I YouTube tripled . I’ve been watching for the last two days and almost EVERY Suggestion in on my homepage is AI .
It’s almost impossible to find one with that’s not Ai generated.
I miss the live actors so much I’m now watching anything with live actors that comes across my page even if I hate the trope or actor.
So I just saw a post where someone asked if it’s an autistic thing to listen the same song repeatedly.
And it got me wondering what are we currently listening to on repeat?

I found this funny and cute transfiguration short drama it can be found on YT under this name:

This drama is hilarious but here are the best highlights:
The fake heiress and real heiress get along, there are perfect as sister balancing each other’s crazy the right amount.
It’s a empress story so she does whip the family into shape.
The parents are great and adore both daughter and call them Big Babe and Little Babe.
There are still scheming woman and scumbag guys but they frequently get their comeuppance.
The YouTube title doesn’t lie, she doesn’t kidnap the ceo and she does it frequently, it becomes a running gag.
The ceo has good friends that tease him for being in love.
Overall is again a delightful hour and a half.
The wedding/engagement/ ect of the century…..

Yeah, she says she pregnant and it's his, that she didn't want to disturb the wedding or his relationship, but she wanted him to know.
Meanwhile his mom is screaming that he HAS to give her grandson a name and she's guarding the ‘root of the family.’
What did the bride do?
She took off the ring and threw it at the groom, said the intern could have him and started to walk off, then the groom grabbed her and said he could explain but she slapped and walked off.
All the while the groom’s mom is yelling at the bride to go and that she's a bad chicken.
Then was when the officiant suggested they postpone the wedding and he dismissed us.
Sassy Best Friend; the one that HATES the FL leads husband and tells her constantly that she can do better and he’s trash.
Bonus point is she immediately takes her FL to look at male models or just tries to get her laid when the divorce is final.
Scumbags Honest Friend ; the one that reminds the husband/wife that their spouse has been good to them , is beautiful, talented, kind , ect. And that he shouldn’t be doing whatever shady thing he is doing. And warns him that she /he will get fed up and leave them.
Bonus Points ; if the friends was in love with the FL/ML , and was only friends with the scumbag to stay close to the lead.
Eager InLaws ; that see a nice man or woman and immediately starts offering up the son/daughter or grandchild for marriage.
Or spots a little kid that think looks like their kid, or what they hoped their grand child could look like.
Bonus points ; if they snatch hair off a kid they thing is their grandchild.
Or they drug their child and their spouse and lock them in a room to ensure they get a grandchild.
Logical Thug; this guy just wants his money. He gets annoyed at the infighting and trying to lay blame.
Bonus Points; if he congratulates the ML/FL on dumping the other scumbag.

The sequel to Hometown Romance is avaible in English translation, and I just speed through it.
Wow…. If you’re expecting the same happy and fun read you had wiht HR , you may be disappointed this is a darker story.
There are sadly men in the book ,as both heroine have male suitors that as Thai GL have taught don’t take ‘ I hate you, leave me alone’ for an answer.
One is truly evil and the other is delusional, I let you decided which is which.
If I had a wish for this book is that it be made with Change network, I think only Sonya can truly be the Si when need for this series.
There are still a lot of humorous moments and characters, but I will again warn that this isn’t the same vibe as Hometown Romance, but still a worth it read.
Are the GL’s available for digital purchase in Thailand?
Like I know that use to be available on DVD , but if you were in Thailand and went to the Apple digital store could you buy say ‘ The Loyal Pin’ or ‘Blank’ ?

Now to preface I did read all four books in this series, I have the fifth sequel but haven’t finished it yet.
I am also a huge FreenBecky fan, but I don’t why it didn’t register in my head that I’d get Becky in two roles. I completely forgot about Helena.
And I have to say regardless of what Lom and Blew do , there is no universe where Grace’s plan works.
Helena won’t even take phone calls or do interviews, but Grace thinks this skittish kitten can take the throne ?!?!?
And I completely understand why Grace choose Helena , you don’t want someone that can pull off the role of Blew completely and confidently because then they may think they are the Queen and then their impossible for Grace to control.
But I’m loving Becky in this dual role, and don’t get me started on Thai’s own John Wick ( Freen) she was giving it her all in that black suit.
So I just finished watching a short drama that was pretty standard. FL got left at the Civil Affairs Bureau after her fiance married his ex who had his son. She in turn marries a billionaire childhood friend that’s been in love with her since forever.
Karma does its job and the ex fiancé ends up in jail , as does his Baby momma who Shocker didn’t actually have HIS baby, the kid was father by someone else ( I don’t think anyone cared to find the real daddy) and ends up in foster care.
And it made me wonder is that how we end up with the scheming adopted son/ brother/ daughter/sisters, they are just a kid who learned to scheme from his mom or dad and ended up in the system, And despite seeing her/ him go to jail still believes that’s the way to succeed in life?
Have some heroes and heroine unwittingly created a farm league at the foster care level of schemers being released into the world?
I’m not talking about the big things, like the toxic relationship or living in a store room, but what small thing in the short drama’s has you like ‘ nope I’m out’
For me it’s the constant touching.
I’m trying to leave some place and some man grabs my arm.
Or some scheming woman taking my hand and whining .’ Sister…’
Don’t get me started on people grabbing me and dragging me to hospitals to donate blood, kidneys and eyes.
So if we’ve established that she is the mother to these three hotties, who’s playing the Dad?
And what’s the deal, is the same Dad for all three, or are we thinking she’s a replacing them as they stop being useful and there are three man out there?
And do we incorporate the HUGE crush that Sonya has on Faye ? It is just know that she has a crush on her girlfriend’s big sister?

So I’m watching a ML Reborn Short drama ( title above) in the 1980/90s , it’s the storyline where the wife took her white moonlight with her to her assignment and leaves the husband behind never to return.
And I know it’s for the story, but one thing about the Quota system have always bugged me.
The wife says she’s allowed one adult family member, but she takes her ‘friend’. Is the govt not cracking down on this ? I mean no one is saying she HAS to take her husband, but given how conservative they are it’s weird that they allow her to take some rando.
And they definitely have the martial records on file and know it’s not her spouse, do we think she’s lying and saying he’s a relative?
Now is this drama specifically comes my second pet peeve with the storyline and quotas, the scheming man is a Doctor, it’s part of her reasoning for taking him instead of the husband.
‘The Northwest is a hard place, a Doctor is useful.’
Then shouldn’t the government being sending their own people, like why doesn’t the Doctor get sent there with his own quota?
