5 months after surgery. Past months or so had some mucus and fecal leakage. No much pain when sitting and almost back to normal. Visited my surgeon and noticed this today. I hoping it’s not back and she said could either be reccurance or dehiscence. I don’t wanna go through this again as I’m just about to start school year and was so much stress back in March. Please send words of encouragement 😢
Been back to normal now for a few weeks. Had wedding yesterday and end of the night looked at my surgery area and saw this. My incision is healing nice but first time butt crack and midline cleft has looked like this. Wasn’t in pain and one small line of dried blood and a blue spot on side. Second picture is what it looks like today less than a day later. Looks much better and drove 3 hours home. No blood and no blood when wiping. Should I see surgeon or am I a good? Thinks some debris and lint go into cleft because of wedding
Had Pilodinal cyst surgery 6 weeks ago and that has been healing well. Last two weeks or so had fecal inconsistent. Some stool comes out leaving streaks in underwear and happens more when sitting. Able to drive now without cushion but when I drive I feel pressure on anus area. I don’t see anything sticking out and post op with surgeon last week didn’t see anything. Don’t know why this is happening and tried higher fiber diet and then RICE. I feel slight irritation around anus but no pain and no blood in stool.
