I got a notification in the app about an update being available to install. I went to the car and installed it without any issue. It took approximately 30 minutes. I haven't driven the car yet after the update, but the infotainment system feels much snappier. I haven't seen any changes in functions etc. yet. One thing was weird after the update: when I locked the car, the occupant alert went off. So I unlocked and locked again, and all was good as of now.

When navigating with Google Maps, through Android Auto, the car will precondition the battery. That's nice integration.

I’m running into a weird issue and hoping someone here has seen this before.

My car is a Volvo EX90 Twin Motor Performance Ultra 2025 (manufactured 2024-11-27), located in Sweden.

It won’t charge at all - neither AC nor DC.

I’ve tested home AC charger (Charge Amps Aura), public AC chargers and DC fast chargers (Eviny 400 kW and Recharge 150 kW). Same result everywhere.

The car doesn’t even seem to detect that the cable is plugged in. It doesn’t lock the cable in place, and there’s no indication that charging is about to start - like it doesn’t recognize the connection at all. I can put the car in Drive with the cable plugged in and start driving, like nothing is connected.

I’ve already tried restarting the central computer twice and restarting the infotainment system twice. No change.

My home charger works perfectly with another car (VW ID. Buzz), so the issue is definitely not the charger.

I’m going to Volvo Service tomorrow, but wanted to check if anyone here has had a similar issue or knows what it could be.

Feels like something with the car’s charging port or communication system or maybe GHCA?

Any ideas?
