Naive question of a beginner: I created two regions that are imprinted, so they share an interface. What boundary type (wall, symmetry, etc) is the part surface there?

So I created a sub bass in vital vst but no matter what I do, it plays until the next note. What can I do against it?

I am playing around with making my own sounds. Now I followed the tutorial of In The Mix about a sub bass. It works fine, but when fill the channel rack my sub bass, it plays wont stop playing the note. So instead of a nice beat, I get this permanent sound. Am I missing something to overcome this? Attack is very low, playing around with attack, decay and release doesnt help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I started making music but I find it extremely difficult to make the sounds that I hear from other songs (trance, eurodance, makina). Should I start by downloading sounds or should I learn to use a synth first? What is your recommended way? Not planning on becoming professional in the future.

As a complete beginner to synth sounds, I am trying around alot. However there is one particulary kick that I want to make but I am not deep enough into synths nor sounds in general to make it. Now I am looking for some guidance.

I try to make the kick from DJ Schinkensuppe's song 'ananas'. For me it reminds me of standing in line outside of a club and hearing the kick through the entrance/ walls. It sounds kind of muffled. However I could not find any other example in my playlists. I thought that maybe you can give me some advice what knobs need to be used to get there. Thanks in advance!
