Youth Coach: How to practice plays without kids getting bored
I’m coaching a girls grade 3/4 6v6 flag football team. It’s our third season together, and I’m starting to introduce some slightly more complex offensive rushing plays (still fairly basic stuff, some fakes then a handoff).
Every time we are practicing plays, I feel like the girls lose interest super fast. Does anyone have any strategies or techniques on how to review/rehearse the plays while keeping the practice fun and the girls engaged?
