Chid friendly fishing cork city

Hi, my son has been dying to go fishing so I got him a rod and some worms. We went down by the Ballincollig regional park and it was pretty disappointing because the line kept getting stuck in the rocks and the bushes along the river. Is there another spot we can go? Even if we don’t catch anything it would be great to not keep getting stuck in the rocks and bushes!

I’m a female 40 yo. In January I pulled a 7:27. Today I pulled a 7:40 and it was crushing it was so painful. My quads and core were burning, I could not move any faster. I was aiming for a 1:53 at 32spm. I was woeful in the second half and actually thought about dropping out.

Granted I have not been following a training plan properly but is that it? I have been doing water training but is it enough to get back into erg training? Is that all this is?
