I currently live in a house that is split in 2, I have the downstairs & my landlord, an elderly man, has the upstairs. I kind of avoid him because he's really negative & pessimistic (although obviously I've created that version of him lol).

So last Thursday I noticed a water hissing sound coming from somewhere out the back of my place & underneath my landlords place. I couldn't see the water but there's clearly a water leak somewhere, I have very heightened hearing & I always hear leaks before I see them. I sent my landlord a msg telling him I can hear a leak & he said he will get a plumber.

Saturday the plumber comes & fixes 2 leaks from where I heard the hissing. After the plumber left I heard my landlord ranting to himself outside my living room about how terrible it is that now he has to pay a plumber "all for some water!" I felt that he was projecting his frustration at me through the wall & it felt horrible. I said no F that, I've done nothing wrong, in fact I've actually saved him money in the long run from water damage & a water bill.

& played it for an hour & then again for an hour that night. I felt relief that his negative projection had gone from me.

What's funny is that on Monday he sent me a msg saying that he has a $25 phone top up voucher that he doesn't need if I wanted it. It's for the exact phone provider that I use. This man is extremely frugal & I know it's only $25 but I just find it so interesting & funny!!
