Schiit Magni + Modi stack or JDS Labs Atom 2 stack for driving Arya Stealth headphones?

For reference, my specific use case is almost exclusively competitive FPS gaming where I need the most accurate, pinpoint precision possible at all times. Sorry if that’s not the best way to describe it but I’m still new to this world so I’m not sure what terms to use and I don’t want to say the wrong thing and confuse people on what I’m prioritizing here.

My budget is roughly around the $300-400 range with some flexibility to go slightly higher if the benefits are worth it.

Arya Stealth for competitive gaming?

First off I want to apologize if I’m using any terms wrong. I’m new to the headphone world and I’m learning as I go.

I currently own a pair of Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Pro X headphones. I use them almost exclusively for Hunt Showdown at this point, and while they get the job done I feel like a lot of sounds get muddled and hard to distinguish. This is a game where audio cues and spatial awareness are everything so that can’t happen.

In my search for a new pair of headphones I frequently have come back to the Arya Stealth as one of my top choices but I’ve read in a few posts that because the soundstage of those headphones is so wide distance can actually become a bit of an issue, with things like losing the location of an enemy behind close walls or enemies sounding farther off than they actually are being cited. That is also something that I can not have.

Is any of that true? And can you recommend any other headphones that would fit the bill of what I’m looking for? Preferably under $800, if possible. I also come back to the 490 Pro a lot but I’ve seen that get very mixed reviews for gaming specifically.

What is the absolute slowest control pad on the market currently?

All the posts I found using the search feature were a couple years old so I’m curious if anything has changed since then. I mostly play a lot of Hunt: Showdown and Escape from Tarkov. I’ve been using glass for the last year but I feel like it’s holding me back and preventing me from hitting a lot of shots I otherwise would if I had more stopping power.
