You might be wondering what I am doing after the VenusByTuesday r/collapse-themed youtube channel was terminated.

I was monitoring Dr. James Hansen's commentary on his website early this year when I noticed he started commenting on a large El Nino to come in the later half of 2026. I went and looked at the ENSO climate models which confirmed it. So I went to have a look at each individual soft commodity in the last 23/24 El Nino and saw which had the largest price reaction. By far, the largest price reaction was cocoa futures.

When the Iran War started, that was my chance. I bought a significant number of May 2027 cocoa futures contracts in early March 2026 at a cost price of USD 3,500 and my target price is USD 14,000. The current price is USD 4,000. The market is currently finely balanced between near-term oversupply and mid-term El Nino risks.

My thinking is that I might as well make money (from the hedge funds who are net short) off the slow collapse rather than get steamrolled by it. This is NOT investment advice.
