So tired of trying to eat at or below maintence perfectly when it seems to ruin all of my gym gains

For context, I went from 110 lbs to 215 lbs and now I'm 145 lbs at 5'7 as a woman and very muscular. I eat about 2,600 calories a day on average (I weigh everything in grams or ml and track it)

I know that with my BMR I should probably be eating 1,800 to 1,900 calories a day max, but it is so hard for me to eat that little and still have energy to do weight training and zone 2 cardio

I'm not trying to "earn" my calories which is what these online weight loss and calorie counting communities love to say about people who eat at their true total daily maintenance instead of eating at BMR maintence or slightly below, but I feel like when I eat less than this end up binging and doing terrible in the gym

I wish I could eat a small deficit and still make gym progress but it just doesn't work for me. So instead I'm maintaining with high calories, high enough that I should be gaining a lot of weight. Thankfully not gaining fat though so far

I am 26 year old woman, hoping to befriend other people my age or older ladies! I'm in Vancouver across the bridge but can travel!

I would love to befriend other ladies who would want to hang out with me and provide mental space for each other! I am happy to be friends with women of all ages, but ideally my age or older (no offense meant to younger women)

I like fitness, thrifting, cooking, reading, and exploring Portland. I would love to get into hiking again too. I am socially awkward and not very socially aware at times, like with sarcasm. But I am very thoughtful and try my best with friendships! DM me!

Only thing is, I do not drink or smoke

Trans-friendly and anti-racist only please. I don't tolerate any bigotry.

(20s F) I'm in Vancouver (I hope that's ok), looking for hiking friends or a group!

I have Thursdays and Fridays off usually, and evenings. Would love to have friends to hike with! Intermediate to somewhat difficult hikes at most, nothing dangerous. Endurance is not an issue though. Thanks for reading!
