Reset Immobilizer

So I just fixed the fuel pump in my 2002 WJ 4.7 and because of trying to crank it so much from when we didn't realize the pump had failed, my battery was dead.

Buddy and I jumped it but that appears to have inadvertently caused the immobilizer to trip and now I'm stuck on a crank-no-start loop.

I can't find concrete advice on resetting it! Can anyone help so I can get this thing running? 😂

Possible Fuel Pump Issue?

Hey everyone! Hoping to get your opinions on what to look into first with my Jeep after it left me stranded this evening.

This morning on my way into work, I was running on fumes, about to be late so like an idiot I didn't stop at the gas station on the way in. During lunch break, I go to start the WJ and it turns over and tries but won't actually start. No problem, I thought to myself, I grabbed a jerry can and dumped 20 litres in (just over 5 gallons for my American friends). Go to start again, same thing, turns over but won't start.

I figure maybe I flooded the engine trying to get it back on or something, so I did the trick with pushing the accelerator to the floor to clear and trying to start again. Vroom, he's aliiiive! Fast forward about 3 minutes later, my Jeep straight up shuts off on me while I'm driving and I have to pull over and wait to get towed because no matter what, it's not starting again, despite turning over.

So, my question to you all is, did I cook my fuel pump? I'm embarrassed to say this is not the first time I've run out of gas with this vehicle and had to use a jerry can. So I'm thinking maybe its time has finally come...

Anything else I should look at before I order in a fuel pump? Oh, I did look at the fuse and it is not blown. I tried listening to hear the pump engage but I couldn't hear anything with all the traffic unfortunately.

For reference, this is a 2002 WJ with the 4.7 HO.
